Secret Garden Party

PIps SGP
Secret garden Party – has got to be my favourite festival. Fullstop. Based on Burning Man, which i am yet to grace with my presence this is a real frolick in festival land. For me, the music takes more of a back seat and its about soaking up the lunatics. Each field/tent virtually swallows you whole and you happily and naturally forget about anything and everything in the outside world, even the other fields and get lost in the madness. A set i really enjoyed was I Blame Coco 100_0145who ive been gagging to see for a while.. beautiful voice and very cool kid. i will shortly be uploading a snippet of Selfmachine...
Gorillaz DJ set was epic, the visuals were mesmerising and much more impressive than I was expecting. Unfortunately unlike at their Glastonbury there was no naked man climbing a pole.
The highlight of the festival – Molotov Jukebox. Suspended from a tree, leadsinger Natalie plays the accordion and sings beautifully whilst the violinist is suspended too from a same said tree. The lead guitarist was wearing a multi-coloured, glitter clown suit which was just a natural occurrence at SGP. How they rocked the tree stage! Here are some of my camera skills, and check out my first edit: wow.

A gold painted army tank was a wicked source of beats over the weekend with Rack n Ruin punching out some old school remixes.
It was at SGP that i came across my fave festival scran – tecno tacos. No jokes, amazing food. Oh and if you ever come across something called fish therapy – that’s when tiny Turkish fish basically eat at your feet, a form of ahem exfoliation – go for it. A bit or a wierd sensation - at first its unbearably ticklish, but your feet feel amazing afterwards!100_0127
Here is a selection of my favourite bits - forgive the camera wobbles!
