For the second year running I was lucky enough to return to Vienna on behalf of MINI & MINIspace to report on the Lifeball 2012. The Lifeball is the biggest AIDS Charity Fundraiser in Europe and this year celebrated 20 years. Here is the Lifeball film we made! The weekend consists of 3 events, A friday night celebration at The Meriden know ans the 'pre-party' where I was on the red carpet (standing on a box) interviewing people who had come along to show their support of this important cause:
The saturday is an International Press Conference where they reveal the Lifeball MINI. Each year MINI create a LifeBall MINI with a top fashion industry face. this year it was Franca Sozzani. Here she is at the press conference about the making of the MINI:
I also spoke to Antonio Banderas about the importance of the event:
Then it was time to get hair and make-up done for the event. The outfits are outrageous, crazy and really inventive. I helped to design mine with MINI and here is the dress:
Here is the spectacle and celebratory show of the Lifeball where there was a fashion show, artists and celebrities performing and giving speeches:
Then we move inside for the Party: Here are a few snaps of the hall and some of the amazing people I met:
